Greek Life at ÂÜÀòÉç
Greek Life is thriving on ÂÜÀòÉç'sÌýsmall, close-knit campus! Joining a fraternity or sorority at ÂÜÀòÉçÌýmeans becoming a part of a diverse network of students and alumni with a common purpose and incredible bond. Currently, we have three sororities and one fraternity represented on campus. All Greek Life members are also a part of the Greek Council which serves as the official representative and governing body for recognized Greek Organizations.
All ÂÜÀòÉç Greek chapters are local chapters. ÂÜÀòÉç chapters host informal and formal recruitment events at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. Bids are extended to potential members at the end of Rush Week.

Mission Statement: Lambda Chi Iota is a community service and social based sorority. We are serious in giving back to the community and creating a safe space. In Lambda Chi Iota, we celebrate our diversity and differences especially because we have sisters from all over the world! We are a home away from home. We strive to push each other to do better, to be better, and to acknowledge our errors and work towards perfection.

Mission Statement: Omega Epsilon Zeta is a local Fraternity at ÂÜÀòÉç that offers Brotherhood and a sense of trust that male students may seek. This Brotherhood focuses and supports young men through our three core principles of Individuality, Integrity, and Unity. While furthering the advancement of academic excellence of higher education.

Greek Council
The purpose of the Greek Council shall be to act as the official representative and governing body for the members of the ÂÜÀòÉç recognized Greek organizations. The Greek Council will work to further the ideals of brotherhood and sisterhood, encourage harmony amongst the individual groups in the organization, promote philanthropy, and continue to encourage the growing mutual respect and camaraderie amongst the individual organizations. Furthermore, the Greek Council will serve as a support system for Greek growth, advocacy, and understanding on ÂÜÀòÉç’s Campus.

Eligibility
Students who wish to participate in Greek Life must meet the following requirements:
- Current ÂÜÀòÉç StudentÌý
- Good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher)Ìý
- Attend Rush Week eventsÌý
- Attend one (1) recruitment seminarÌý
Upcoming Recruitment Timeline
Greek Week is a celebration of our close knit Greek community at ÂÜÀòÉç. The week features events and volunteer opportunities hosted by the community. Events are open to all current ÂÜÀòÉç students.
Rush Week is an opportunity for students to express interest and learn more about the recruitment process. Informal recruitment events will be held by each participating organization. Those who are interested in joining the Greek Life community should attend events during this week.
Bid Day is the final day of the recruitment process. Potential new members will receiveÌýformal bids to join chapters. Bid Day may be accompanied by organization specific bonding activities.
